I am confused, a most delightful state
When perusing abstract constructs up late
Body’s timetable a base of stability
While mind renders tunes from inner cacophony
Dwelling on epistemology, while I dig a hole
Knowledge is not crucial, but it can play a big role
In the search of Truth, understanding is sped by perspective
Knowledge grants you different eyes to see from in this respective
It is not the only way, but it is the easiest to access these days
I bury the cat in the garden, and wash up for lunch
Thoughts on morality, pre-existence, afterlife, Cthulu munch
I dream that I’m a natural disaster, firestorm, bringer of chaos
That duality you talked about exists here, the physical and the mental
When one is stable the other can embark on discovery within confusion
I begin to ponder anew, is it better to own your house or live in a rental.
Sorry for your loss.
I start the days pondering
with the Aristotle quotation
~ ‘I know nothing’
But I am a part of something
that speaks of a higher calling.

Thank you for the kind thoughts. The cat was a very temporary resident, gone before any of us could grow attached. The death happened a while ago, I merely resurrected the memory for effect.
We do not know nothing, Aristotle’s dialectic may have been misquoted. We know something, but the things we don’t know may as well be infinite.

That reminds me… I wanted to give him a proper grave, and ended up breaking the pickaxe on a hidden layer of granite. I still have to replace the tool. There’s a poem in there somewhere, about graves and granite… It’s strange how these normal everyday occurrences can hold meaningful universal symbols.

Synchronicity . . .
in the whisper of eternity.
Pets are a special blessing.

I think Aristotle was
pointing out, in the search
for truth, one has to get
past preconceptions and
cultural baggage that only
cloud mind from clear thought.

You’re right, that was surely the essence of Socrates’ school
And also to provide a counter force to those sophists…
